Testimonials

  • Sterling is a talented and helpful pottery teacher. He is great at explaining technique and walking his students through each step at an appropriate pace. As a beginner I felt very supported and was excited to walk away from the class with pieces that I enjoyed. Would highly recommend his course to anyone interested in this skill set. They couldn't ask for a better teacher.

  • I had the pleasure of taking Antra's hand building class, I'm grateful for her for sharing her wisdom and passion for clay with me. It's a very relaxing way to work with clay and I hand build now to unwind. The class inspired me to make very different things than I was making before and I highly recommend it if you're looking to boost your creativity. If you've only thrown on a wheel or you've never worked with clay before, it's a new experience definitely worth doing.

  • I took a 6 week course from John this last month and absolutely loved it! John was so patient and willing to meet every student where they were in their skill level. He was very accommodating and really helped me hone in on improving certain techniques. Loved the whole staff at the studio, very friendly and such a welcoming environment!

  • Sterling has been my favorite ceramics teacher by leaps and bounds! Rather than just telling me what to do he taught me how to really feel and connect with the clay in such a beautiful way. He would watch how my whole body was interacting with the clay and then give direction from there. He has so much passion for what he does, and is such a gentle and patient teacher. My classes with him quickly became my favorite part of my week!

  • Forrester exudes such passion for his craft which made class that much more exciting to learn from him. I appreciate the clear and detailed instructions, the patience, the acceptance of allowing each of us to find our flow with clay. All around good vibes from him and I will be returning!

  • I had a blast learning from Sterling! He actually teaches you AND is good at it. Totally comfortable space to just be yourself and make some stuff. My wife and I had so much fun doing this as a weekly date night. We're so proud of our bowls and cups. We want to do it again!

  • If anyone is looking to learn how to wheel throw or just wants some touch ups on technique, I recommend signing up for a pottery class with Forrester. He is a fantastic instructor, patient, has this infectious love for clay which makes learning so much fun. I felt a connection with art again finally, after several years of debating if I should get back into it. The attention to each student's needs what phenomenal, I felt autonomous with learning techniques and applying that to my work of art. Great way to end a busy work day. They play music in the classes too which gives such a fun vibe when you are throwing clay.
